Your expert coaching support will:

Develop a positive learning attitude

This skill is one of the first to learn. It develops your mindset throughout learning to believe that 'I can succeed and I will pass'. Just adopting this mental and physical attribute will halve the difficulty of what you learn, speed up your ability to gain understanding and learning outcomes plus, most importantly, increase the effectiveness of your recall.

Set personalised and achievable targets

We've all at times declared that we can't do something before we've even try to do it or said, I forget everything these days before starting to learn something. Without realising these statements or similar are called negative learning and is the commonest reason why a student struggles with their studies or doesn't pass an exam. Our coaching support will quickly help you to remove those negatives to ensure you are always a positive learner. Positive learning develops as you learn and is enhanced by setting realistic targets and achievable goals. Your first achievable targets will be set in your personalised timetables at the start of your course. As you meet those targets, your confidence will build and your motivation will grow.

How to improve recall

In the point above bad memory was mentioned, in truth, everything we learn, we store in our memory ready to be recalled. In education, new knowledge stored, is quickly buried by more new knowledge. This is what students confuse with 'I've forgotten'. You haven't forgotten, the knowledge is new so your recall will be slow and you have to give it a chance to work. Through coaching, we will teach you simple techniques that will build your confidence to trust your recall, which in turn will increase the speed with which you recall. Recall and not books will be your trusted friend in an exam.
